Lake Street

The Lake Street District or sometimes called North of Lake is bound by the Presidio of San Francisco to the north, Presidio Heights to the east (Arguello Boulevard), the Inner Richmond to the south (California Street), and Sea Cliff to the west (27th Avenue) The Lake District offers large and traditional San Franciscan homes with many Grand Edwardians, Victorians, Queen Annes, and others. The Lake District provides ease of access and a quaint shopping district , Laurel Village, complete with high end food stores, book stores, hip retail clothing, Peet's Coffee and of coures a huge Starbucks with sofas, Internet Acess and lots of room to visit and catch up with friends.

Beautiful homes and sophisticated condominiums abound in the Lake Street Corridor-walking distance to Mountain Lake Park with tennis courts, soccer fields, and a fantastic Children's Playground.

Restaurants are wonderful in this center of San Francisco, Chinese and Japanese to Indian and Italian. Cal Mart is a great place to shop for special foods and great bakery items. Beautiful, the newest on the street, sells incredible healthy and declicious prepared foods- the lines can be long around dinner time however well worth the wait.
